The co-founder and president of New Age Solution, used his 14 years experience to create a fresh approach to web development. Drawing on his expertise as a Software Architect, specializing in Microsoft Silverlight 3 applications at Jacksonville, Florida. Henry worked on training and building Enterprise Line of Business Silverlight 3 applications to Silverlight 3 interactive applications for local Jacksonville companies.
Since founding New Age Solution, he has been a community leader by speaking at IEEE in Jacksonville, Orlando Code Camp 2009, and Day of DotNetNuke in Tampa Microsoft. His fresh approach to the development includes his “We Care” campaign. This program donates IT consulting, web sites and web applications to Jacksonville’s non-profit agencies.
About Lecture Topic:
Silverlight Animations 101+
Silverlight, PRISM, WCF, RIA Service and Entity Framework
We will provide lecture catering to both architects, developers and designers on fully utilizing Microsoft tools such as Visual Studio 2008, Blend 3, and other Microsoft Expression Studio tools.
We will provide Silverlight 3 training on basics of animations like matrix theory, easing functions, use of transparency, tips and tricks using multiple layers. Then we will learn to use Blend and how Blend 3 can help us simplify creating animations and how more complicated animations can be accomplished using pure code. We will look at frame based, and time based approach to animations.
We will also provide training on the development patterns for Silverlight 3 using Prism, WCF, Entity Framework and RIA service to create easily testable and maintainable architecture. We will use Silverlight 3 to take advantage of rich features for front-end, while using Entity Framework to take care of persistence, and use WCF to create service layer to abstract out business.
