About Lecturer
Henry Lee, co-founder and president of New Age Solution, used his 14 years experience to create a fresh approach to web development. Drawing on his expertise as a Software Architect, specializing in Microsoft technologies, Henry is currently working on Silverlight 3 applications both Line of Business Enterprise Application , high-end Silverlight data visualization tools for operations and sales and marketing.
Since founding New Age Solution, he has been a community leader by speaking at IEEE in Jacksonville, Orlando Code Camp 2009, and Day of DotNetNuke in Tampa Microsoft. His fresh approach to the development includes his “We Care” campaign. This program donates IT consulting, web sites and web applications to Jacksonville’s non-profit agencies.
About Lecture Topic: Silverlight Animations 101+
To bring that “Wow” factor into Silverlight we need animation elements incorporated into the application. We will look at basics of animations like matrix theory, easing functions, use of transparency, tips and tricks using multiple layers. Then we will look at how Blend can help us simplify creating animations and how more complicated animations can be accomplished using pure code. We will look at frame based, and time based approach to animations.
